Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance variety earned her acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson, the daughter of a renowned architect, as well as producer, was born within New York City. Hunter was twins with her younger sister. When she was a kid she was able to begin acting. Actually, at seven She had auditioned for a number of commercials. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly following and then went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan for further training. When she was eight years old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. When she was nine, she debuted in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause (1995) but her debut came in Manny & Lo (1996) a coming-of-age film about siblings who are orphaned and run away. Her next film won the attention of critics for her character as a teenager who has been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen who is a solitary Rebecca in Ghost World (2001). With the support from her parents, Smith landed her first acting gig in the age of 6. The role was in an Dannon yogurt TV commercial. As with the majority of actresses just beginning to get their feet wet, she would work on her acting skills. She also worked in other projects throughout the USA, while Wildflower was her first stage production. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
